I noticed quickly that my friend was an extremely difficult time controlling his kayak. I assumed he would get the concept of it pretty quick though and paddled along my way. Within minutes I had covered a great distance and realized that my friend was nowhere in picture. After a quick panic sensation I soon burst into uncontrollable giggles because i realized that his kayak had rolled and all I could see was his head bobbing in normal water. Laughing so hard I could barely paddle I watched as a speed boat came to his rescue, hauled his embarrassed butt into their boat and helped him to get the water away from his raft.
Although my friend’s kayaking experience proved not in order to become a good one, features by far one of the funniest kayaking trips I’ve ever had. His deflated ego paddled completely soaked onto our destination where we then switched kayaks. He then paddled the beginner kayak back to shore with no other symptoms.
His mistake though quite normal for occasion kayakers can also be very dangerous. Though I had been great laugh out of it, really it may been dangerous and disastrous had buddy hurt himself or been somewhere where help hasn’t been close just.
Lesson perfected.
The lesson was definitely learned the usage of. as starting out kayaker it is not important for be the fastest boat within the water. The trick is to get a stable kayak and learn essentials before you move on on the speed.
